Official preliminary to the 71^st Annual Miss Georgia Forestry State Pageant

$1000 Miss Scholarship - October 10, 2009

 

Baby – Little Miss Pageant time 2pm  *  Junior, Teen, & Miss Pageant time 5pm

STC Auditorium – Vidalia   DEADLINE – September 18^th

*MANDATORY PRACTICE - October 9th

 

 

Prizes:  There will be one queen and 3 alternates in each age division.  Queens will receive an Official Forestry Crown, Banner, Official Forestry Trophy, $1000 Scholarship for Miss, Savings, bonds and your entry fees (excluding optionals and ads) paid to represent Toombs at the 71st Annual Miss Georgia Forestry State Scholarship Pageant to be held in Tifton in June 2010. Alternates will receive an Official Forestry Trophy/Plaque and those not placing will receive a Participation Trophy and/or a gift.

 

 

Age Divisions:  Baby Miss 12-23 months, Teeny Miss 2-3 years, Tiny Miss 4-6 years, Little Miss 7-9 years, Junior Miss 10-12 years, Teen Miss 13-16 years and Miss 17-23 years Girls will compete in age group according to June 2010.

 

Entry Fee:  Baby Miss thru Junior Miss will be $60.00 beauty fee and (1) $25.00 ad for the program.  Ads are Mandatory!!!

Entry Fee:  Teen and Miss Division will be $75.00 beauty fee and (1) $25.00 ad for the program.  Ads are Mandatory!!! 

Ads can be from friends, family or a business.  Business card or what you want the ad to say must be turned in with the application.

You MUST submit a wallet photo and an ad page with your application and fees for our program book and our website.

 

Optionals:  $50 Package includes Sportswear, Prettiest Dress, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Face, Best Personality and Photogenic – All or none.  These are optionals & scores are not used to determine queens, so if you do not have a photogenic, that is ok.  

NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ENTRY FEE, please submit Money Order, cash, or certified check.

 

Program Books will be $10 .00(Any contestant that sells $100.00 or more in ads for the program book, receives (1) program book FREE) The program book will be a professionally bound booklet each contestant will have an ad page for good luck ads sold.

Door Admission for ages 1mo to 99yrs –$8.00 (including infants & children)   The only ones admitted FREE are the Contestant

 

Pix Photography will be our Official Forestry Photographer and no other video/digital/phone or any other form of camera’s are allowed inside STC.  Packages are available in advance for $35.  This includes 1-8x10, 2-5x7’s, & 8-wallets.  Add on a Photogenic Shot for only $25.  Please make photo payments to PIX PHOTOGRAPHY. Miss Hospitality is the contestant that sells the most Ads. 1 free admission ticket goes to each contestant for every $100’s in ads.  Winner receives prizes as all other queens and will ride in parades and promote forestry right along with other queens.   Sell ads to your friends or businesses.  All ads have to be turned in by September 18th!!!  Ad pages are $100.00 per page, $60.00 per half page or $35.00 per quarter page, $20.00 business card size, $10.00 for Good Luck Ads. Contact the directors for more information.   You must sell a total of $350.00 or more to quality for Hospitality.  You must contact the director if you are planning on entering Hospitality.  The director will give you instruction on how this event works.

*MISS HOSPITALITY IS ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE AT THE MISS GEORGIA FORESTRY STATE PAGEANT  IF THE WINNER IS IN THE TEENY THRU MISS DIVISIONS.

People’s Choice:  Start now and collect money.  Money will be turned in at the People’s Choice Table at the pageant.  Votes can be made from now until the intermission of the pageant.  Votes are $1.00 each.  The contestant in ages 0-9 years and ages 10-24 years with the most votes will receive a crown and nice prize.

 

*MANDATORY PRACTICE will be on the Friday night (October 9th).  Practice for Baby thru Little 6-7pm  and 7-8 for Jr, Teen

Numbers along with important information will be issued, if you cannot come to practice, you must contact Kerri to set up a time to pick this up earlier Friday at Shimmers & Shines!!!

 

Teen and Miss Contestant’s competition will begin at approximately 9am on Saturday morning with Speech & Interviews  (We will contact you by email one week prior to pageant and post online your Interview/Speech time).

Baby, Teeny, Tiny, and Little Beauty competition will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, please check in by 1:30.

Junior, Teen and Miss Competition will be at 5:00 pm – Please check in by 4:30

Pageant will start promptly @ 5 with or without you/your child.
